Flutter

31 Aug

I have finally realized what the whole “fluttering feeling” is all about. The baby has been squirming around alot the last couple of days. I can feel it faintly moving and turning about more frequently. I have felt it kick a couple times, but nothing crazy yet! I can’t wait until Aaron can feel it too!

Dreaming

27 Aug

I had another dream last night that the baby was going to be a girl. Me and my dreams. I don’t think I’m going to try and guess if it is a boy or a girl. I have no idea anymore! 🙂

3%

So, at the last doctor visit about two weeks ago I found out I had gained a little more weight than expected, actually about 5 lbs. This is not a bad thing, I probably actually needed to gain the weight more than anything. But, I was still curious as to why I had gained that extra weight. So, there are “pregnancy weight gain calculators” available online to see if you are “on track”. Well I found out that I was on track for having twins. We don’t really have twins in the family. I’ve already had an ultrasound and heard the heartbeat 3 or 4 times. So, I’m pretty sure we aren’t having twins. Without twins in the family or using in vitro fertilization we would only have a 3% chance of having twins. But, of course being me with my big imagination I was thinking of all the crazy possiblities and scenarios.

I had also looked into this not only because of the weight gain, but also because two seperate people on two seperate occasions had asked me if I was having twins because I was showing more quickly. (To which before this happened the doctor had already told me I would show faster because I didn’t weigh much to being with).

I am pretty sure we aren’t having twins. It has just been a little joke with Aaron and I that is funny and entertaining to talk about. Which is probably why I had a dream two nights ago that we had two little babies right around the same age.

So silly.

Anyway, the countdown to my next sonogram is two weeks and one day! I am 18 weeks pregnant already! It ‘s going by so fast!

Yay!

17 weeks! Three more weeks and then we’ll know if it is a boy or a girl. I woke up the other day feeling like it was going to be a boy. I’m thinking it might be a boy but everyone else is saying it’s a girl! Guess we’ll just have to wait and see!

So I felt the baby kick/move last night as I was about to fall asleep! That was fun! I haven’t felt it after that, but I’m still really excited!

15 weeks, 4 days

The lil’ baby is 4 inches big!

Here are some pictures of the tiny bump! Can’t wait until it is bigger and doesn’t look like a beer belly! Hehe.

(Don’t pay attention to the messiness!)

Pants= Too Small

1 Aug

I knew I had gained a couple pounds and a tiny little bump, but I didn’t really realize how much of a difference it makes or how much my body had changed already. Today I officially had to get Aaron to help me squeeze into some pants that used to fit pretty loose. So weird, wasn’t expecting that today! I’m definitely going to have to get some new clothes pretty soon.

Also, today I was laying down and I could feel the baby! It wasn’t kicking or anything, it was just hanging out at a place that was close enough to where we could feel a tiny bump through my skin and all that mess. There’s no doubt that it was the baby because there isn’t a bump like that now. That was pretty neat. It definitely made my day!
