26 weeks

I had a diabetes screening test on Wednesday. I passed that, but they said that I am anemic again which was not really surprising.I have been sleeping so much lately.

Our little baby girl has been moving like crazy the last couple days at all times of the day and just twisting and turning all over the place. I am getting so excitited, I can’t wait! Having little pink outfits around the house get me even more excited! Only about 3 1/2 more months until she is here. It has gone by really fast.  I had always thought that 9 (10) months seemed like such a long time to be pregnant but if you really think about how much goes on and all of the details of it, it seems so amazing that a baby can be created in that short amount of time.

At 26 weeks her eyes are starting to open, her heart and ears are developing even more as well. She is weighing in at almost 2lbs.

Little Bump

I think my favorite part of being 6 months pregnant is that I’m not huge but you can definitely tell that I have gained some extra weight around my mid-section. Why is this my favorite? Well, because it is hilarious cause I constantly catch people giving my stomach a double-take but are too afraid to say anything or ask if I am expecting. It is usually people that frequently come in where I work at or else people at other businesses that I frequent a couple times a month. Yeah, I could say “yes, I’m pregnant”. But it is so much more fun to just watch the thought process of “hmm, I wonder if?..should i say something?… hmm , maybe it is just extra weight?..no, I’m not going to say anything” stream across their face in a matter of seconds. Maybe I should just make a shirt that says “Yes, I’m pregnant” to give wondering minds the confirmation they are wondering about. Nah, it is too much fun to just chuckle to myself when I see people try and make a double-take in a “non-obvious” way.

October 10th

I had another doctor’s visit yesterday. It was just a little checkup and everything is looking normal! Jody will be proud to know that I had my first case of morning sickness yesterday.

I’m 24 weeks 2 days preg. I’ve gained about 20 lbs. so far and it appears as if the baby has figured out how to kick and punch at the same time now. I can feel her move on both sides of my stomach at the same time.Weird.

23 weeks 6 days

I’m technically in the 6th month of pregnancy! So weird, it is going by so fast. I have a doctor’s checkup this Friday and after this one I’m going to start having my checkups every two weeks.
