Chips and Dip

28 Apr

The other day I had left some sour cream-ranch dip on the end table not even thinking about what could happen. I came back into the room to see Elliot with it on the floor with the bag of chips and dipping the chips in the dip. This wouldn’t be a big deal except that she is lactose intolerant. These last couple of days have been rough on her back end but man she enjoyed it so much like it was the best thing she had ever had. She had the dip all over her face and hands and was trying to eat as much as she could as fast as she could before she got caught. Lol! Poor baby, all she wanted was some sour cream dip and chips!

Ah, there was another story that now I can’t remember. I’ll post later if I can remember it.

3. playing outside

4. strawberries

5. bananas (her new word “nana”)

6. bubbles

7. buttons (most recently)

8. bellybuttons (loves them!! if she’s crying and you show her your bellybutton she’ll usually stop almost instantly. kinda weird, but it works!)

9. balloons (epsecially at walmart where they have Elmo balloons everywhere)

10. books/ Elmo book

Oh yeah, and the other day (like 2 wks. ago) she came up to me with bow and did sign language for “please” and then held it up to her head for me to put it in her hair!! So cute!  🙂

Sweetest Baby

3 Apr

I need to update this more frequently. Today Elliot did the sweetest thing all thought of by herself. I had some clothes in a stack from doing the laundry and Ellie was holding and “rocking” her baby doll. She looked over to the stack and started to unstack some blankets like she always does. At first I said no, and then thought that it wasn’t that much of a big deal, I can always re-fold them. She got a recieving blanket that was on top and then put it around her baby doll and snuggled up with the doll and rocked her some more. This is something I do with her everyday at naps and bedtime. She is such a sweetie and already so observant, smart, and thoughtful. I can’t get over how wonderful she is that she thought of doing that all on her own!
